ESG Governance Structure
The Board of Directors of BES serves as the highest decision-making and supervisory body for the company's sustainability policies and the formulation of development goals. The Sustainability Development Committee, chaired by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, oversees the Sustainable Development Implementation Group, which is responsible for coordinating and implementing sustainability action plans. The Group reports on its progress to the Sustainability Development Committee on a regular basis.
The Sustainable Development Implementation Group consists of three subordinate teams, each focusing on environmental protection, social responsibility, and corporate governance. Each team is responsible for ESG-related initiatives, including employee training and capacity-building programs. The discussion topics covered by each team are illustrated in the figure below:
