The construction scope includes the extension of the Nangang Station to the NanGang Exhibition Center Station and the construction of the NanGang Exhibition Center Station. The Taipei Metro's Banqiao Line and Wenhu Line are connected at the NanGang Exhibition Center Station, making it a new transportation hub. The NanGang District will integrate the NanGang Economic and Trade Park, NanGang Technology Software Park, and the Academia Sinica to develop an image as an emerging high-tech business city. Therefore, the station aims to express the image of urban efficiency through the use of technological and rhythmic materials, and it is defined as a "digital space, e-Station" in terms of architectural theme development, according to the regional development conditions.
