Project Description
In order to support the overall planning of Kaohsiung Port and the upgrading of aging units at the Da-Lin Power Plant, Taiwan Power Company (Taipower) initiated the CV11 Ash Pond Project as part of the plant's renovation and reconstruction plan. The project involves the construction of an embankment-style coal ash disposal site to handle the non-recoverable portion of coal ash generated after the operation of the new units. The coal ash is disposed of by filling it into the designated area.
